Get to Know More About us

The Rogbere Football Academy exists to tackle a non-existent infrastructure for young sporting talent. With the goal to find Sierra Leone’s most exciting sporting talent and giving it a platform to progress as has been the case in neighbouring countries.

Our Objective

Our objective is to nurture the most talented young footballers in the country with high quality coaching, professional support alongside an excellent education.

What We Do

The academy strives to instil football passion, education, and character development. This is achieved through professional football training and high-quality education. Alongside the day-to-day learning significant effort is directed towards creating and offering international experiences for talented players to be exposed to sport tours and events in the wider region.

Academics

Every player will attend school on the academy site with football sessions and extra-curricular learning happening outside of school hours. Our vocational program offers students practical, hands-on training in various technical fields. This program is designed to provide skills in areas like Tailoring, Carpentry, Computing and Welding. This is to equip students with the knowledge needed for successful careers on and off the pitch.

Football

The main tool and purpose of the academy is to give every player enrolled at the academy a knowledge and understanding of football and the qualities it can bring out in an individual. Students will be taught the theory of the sport alongside practical sessions developing a deep understanding of the game and how it teaches key life skills such as leadership and teamwork.
